Over
250 artists, sponsors and art patrons attended the 2008
Fine Art Book Preview Party. Great art was the order of
the evening, with music by the Andrea Bunton Jazz trio,
wine & champagne by Barefoot, buffet and desserts by
La Duni. 80 works of art sold in the silent auction with
proceeds from the event helping to fund art award scholarships
for Highland Park High School senior artists for the 2008-2009
school year.
Collaborart: June 6th at the Creative Arts Center 10am until 10pm. Artists spent the day creating art for an auction at the evening’s party. Close to $2500 was raised for CAC, the art was amazing and a great time was had by all. First annual?
Exhibition at the Cedar’s Gallery: June 7th thru July 10th, exhibit of work by artists in the 2009 art engagement book.
October 17th thru November 10th: Second exhibition of artists in the 2009 Fine Arts in Dallas/ Fine Art of Park Cities / Artist reception October 22nd 6pm-9 pm at the Gallery at Oldfield Davis.
Special Artist Event: Park Cities Women in Business @ Gallery at Oldfield Davis, October 22nd, in conjunction with the second exhibition of the artists in the 2009 book.
November 6th: Annual book preview party @ Park Cities Hilton 6pm-9pm/ $20 @ door
Art will be photographed the 2nd week in August.
